From setup to final standings, in one place — built for organizers, loved by players. Every feature below is live in the product today.
Formats, team rules, scoring basis, and season options combine into thousands of distinct event configurations.
Classic lowest-score-wins, individual or team, net or gross.
Best ball, scramble, alternate shot, or aggregate — 2- or 4-player teams, with rotating pairs for foursomes.
Weekly head-to-head: the winning side earns match points (split on a tie), turning the season into a win-loss-halve race. Works for 2- and 4-person rotating teams.
Points-per-hole scoring that keeps one bad hole from ruining a round, with a built-in Modified table that rewards aggressive play.
Head-to-head, solo or in teams — each hole its own contest. Play a single match, or a Nassau: front nine, back nine, and overall as three matches.
Club vs. club, side vs. side: two teams across Fourball, Alternate Shot and Singles, mixed however you like each round. Captains run their own pairings, and the standings track the two-side match-point race — not a leaderboard.
Every hole is its own prize — the outright low score wins it, and tied holes carry over so pots build. Standings track skins won and earnings.
An indoor-night favorite: a randomly hidden partner nobody can see until the round closes and the draw is revealed, with themed aliases until then.
Run net, gross, or parallel net and gross competitions, with an adjustable handicap allowance.
Award points by where players finish each round instead of a cumulative total, with a fully editable points table — including team-driven individual races.
Auto-generate balanced, random, or flighted teams.
A running index, GHIN, or true course handicaps.
Payouts for every way you're scored.
Everyone you add is told, and can reply without an account.
Players link themselves via code, email, or invite.
Mixed-tee groups compete fairly.

Enter scores hole by hole or a full card, and the leaderboard updates live for everyone watching the round — no refresh. Each format gets the right columns: gross and net, Stableford points, match-play margins, or skins won.
Every upcoming round across every league, grouped by week, so nobody misses a tee time.
Handicap, scoring average, a full scoring breakdown, and season highlights by league. Free members see the last 30 days; paid tiers unlock full history.
One-tap sign-in, your dashboard the moment you log in, and a plan that fits how much golf you run.
Scores go in on the tee, not in the car park afterwards. Everyone following the round sees each one land, and the board is already right by the time you shake hands on 18.
Enter a score and the leaderboard moves for every person following that round — no refreshing, no waiting for someone to post results afterwards.
Tap through one hole at a time with the group in front of you, fill in a full scorecard at the turn, or just post totals. Same round, whichever suits.
Gross and net for stroke play, points for Stableford, “2 up / AS / 1 dn” for match play, skins won for skins. You never translate anything yourself.
Even when one person is scoring the whole group, anyone can keep just their own card from their own phone. Nobody waits on somebody else’s battery.
Send a link or a QR code to a spectator board that needs no account and no login — for the clubhouse, or for whoever couldn’t make it.
A guest scorekeeper code lets someone with no account keep their group’s scores. It only works for that group, and expires after play.
Charging for a league night, a member-guest or a buddies’ trip usually means a spreadsheet and a lot of awkward reminders. Set the price once, let every player pay you in a tap, and keep a straight answer to “who still owes?”.
Set what it costs and what that covers — green fee, cart, lunch, the closest-to-pin pool — and it shows in every invitation, on the event page, and on the public listing. Nobody agrees to play before they know.
Players pay through PayPal, Venmo or Cash App with you and the amount already filled in. No hunting for your username, no typing the figure, no “what was it again?” texts.
It goes straight from your player to you, inside your own payment app. We don’t hold funds, never see card details, and take no cut — so there’s nothing to sign up for and nothing deducted.
Every player carries a marker: unpaid, waiting on your confirmation, or paid. You confirm the money as it lands — including cash and anything settled outside the app.
One email chases everyone who hasn’t settled up. Limited to one a week on purpose: these are your club-mates, not a mailing list.
Neither publishes a payment link, so those two show players your handle and the amount to send instead. For anything they don’t cover, drop in your own payment link.
Every group has a side bet going. Run it properly: pick the holes, let anyone watching log a distance from their phone, and see who’s leading before the group even walks off the green.
Pick which holes run Closest to the Pin or Longest Drive — right on top of whatever format the round actually scores by. A par 3 for CTP, a par 4 or 5 for Longest Drive.
Not just the group’s own scorer — anyone following the round taps the chip next to a golfer’s name and enters a distance, right from Live Scoring.
A leaders panel shows the current best on every enabled hole as entries land, and everyone following gets a quick notice naming the golfer, the hole, and the new leading value.
Collect a small pot for the side games with the same one-tap PayPal/Venmo/Cash App flow your event dues already use — entirely separate from what the round itself costs to play.
Caddie is the helper built into Hold the Green. Tell it about your event the way you’d text your group and it sets the whole thing up. Snap the paper scorecard and every score is drafted for you. Either way you get a draft to check, never a decision already made.
Type it or say it — “Thursday nights at Green Harbor, 9 holes, 2-man best ball, 12 weeks from April 15” — and Caddie works out whether it’s a league, a tournament or an outing, then fills in the game, the course, the schedule and the handicaps.
Photograph the card at the end of the round — front and back nine if it takes two shots — and every player’s hole-by-hole scores are drafted into the app. No squinting at someone’s handwriting while four people wait.
We never let the AI have the last word. It drafts, you decide — nothing is applied to your event or saved to a scorecard until you’ve looked at it and said yes.
Shot-level insight — fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts per round — layered onto My Stats.
Playing somewhere we don’t have yet? Enter its tees, pars and stroke indexes yourself instead of waiting on us.
Skins already scores every hole. Tracking the pot and who’s owed what at the end of the night is next.
